Per usual a lot of the information on this first page is going to be pretty similar to what I put on my other sun series articles. (What is a sun sign, more about the series, etc.) So if you wanna skip ahead to the Capricorn part go ahead.
Every Thursday I do an article about something Astrology related. I’m starting with going through the sun signs, then the moon signs, then the rising signs, and proceeding from there through the planets and houses. I know that a lot of people don’t believe in astrology and that’s fine, these articles aren’t gonna be about convincing you. (Although I probably will try sometime in the future). I just find astrology fascinating and informative. I’ve also discovered a huge community of like-minded individuals who have the same beliefs about it as I do and this is my blog and I can do what I want here.
So let's get into some astrology shall we?
First, if you’ve never heard of a sun sign here’s the basics. Each astrology sign holds unique properties which influence our lives in different ways. Although people often refer to each of these signs as ‘their sign’, the correct term is ‘sun sign’ which means the position of the sun in the Zodiac the moment you were born.
Overall Astrology is extremely complex and the sun sign is just a very small part of who you are as a person. If you are a Gemini and don’t really relate to these traits it’s likely because you have many strongly placed other signs in your chart that dull the quality of your Gemini sun.
A sun sign is basically the sign that governs your personality and is a reflection of your soul, your ego, your inner self and determines your basic approach to life. You also have your moon sign and your rising sign which contribute significantly to your character, dreams, relationships, and temperament.
Astrology has an impact on your approach to life and how you respond to any given situation. For instance, if your sun sign is Cancer you may use emotional appeal to get things done the way you want and generally just as the crab walks sideways you take an indirect approach. If you were an Aries however, you would take a more direct and physical approach to get things done.
You also have a moon and rising sign, which - very basically, breaks down to your moon is your emotional self and your rising is how you appear to the outside world. It's also your gut reaction to things. For an Aries rising, your typically knee-jerk reaction to things would be to get angry.

NOTE: You are a Capricorn Sun sign if you are born between December 22nd and January 20th although the exact time varies every year so if you were born near the transition you should check to be sure what your sun sign is. I really like the website astro.com. Just type in your birthday, time of birth, place of birth, and it will give you your accurate sun, moon, and rising sign.
♑️Sun Series: Capricorn ♑️
Capricorn is the 10th sign in the zodiac wheel. They are an earth sign, the other earth signs being Taurus and Virgo. Capricorn's symbol is a Sea-Goat.
Capricorns are the least likely to believe in astrology. Or really anything they can’t fit into a box. They probably don’t believe in conspiracy theories, aliens, ghosts, etc. They are skeptical by nature. The world is very black and white to them. They are very logical and need to see tangible evidence for them to believe in things. They always need proof for everything. They’re not very open-minded.
They can be a little conservative. Especially about tattoos and piercings. They do things for practical uses. They’re the sign of practicality and they’re stubborn about it. Debating with a Capricorn is like talking to a brick wall. They can come across as a know-it-all.
They’re very good at remembering things and doing math. They’re the kind of person who’s smart who doesn’t really have to try to be smart. They can come across as kind of preachy sometimes, this is because they just believe so strongly that they’re right about things.
Capricorns need to learn that their way is not always the best way for everyone. They have a hard time letting things go when someone disagrees with them.
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn and Saturn is a difficult sign to be ruled by. Saturn represents live lessons, restrictions and challenges. (Every person will go through a Saturn return at some point in their life. This is when Saturn returns to where it was when you were born. This time is usually considered your midlife crisis or a time of challenge and change. Your Saturn return is usually every 27 years.) Saturn represents personal growth, Capricorns become stronger and tougher the older they get. Being ruled by Saturn gives Capricorns a lot of challenges in life.
Capricorn is not a very lucky sign. Many of them struggle with addiction and difficulties throughout their life. This just makes them stronger.
Capricorns are especially ambitious but they have to be the one that decides to pursue that goal. If their motivation doesn’t come from within, it can be hard for them to work towards that goal. Earth signs in general are career driven but Capricorns in particular are especially career driven.
They are independent people. They don’t feel the need to be in a relationship but if someone catches their eye and they are committed. A Capricorn is very choosy and if they choose you, they are choosing to be committed for the long haul.
They are good critical thinkers, they have good practical ideas. They work smarter, not harder. Capricorns are responsible people. They’re excellent planners and are never flaky. They like to make plans and they stick to them. When someone flakes on them, they get really offended.
They are logical, and masters of self-control. They’re the sign to survive an apocalypse because they’re resourceful. They are always looking for validation and improvement. They are very hard on themselves thinking that they don’t work hard enough.
They are very stoic and can come across as emotionless. They’re good at putting on an act. When they allow themselves to have fun, they have a lot of fun. Work hard, play hard attitude. They can become a completely different person when they drink.
They are solid life-long friends. A great person to help you with a practical solution. They are extremely loyal but they do get annoyed easily. They can have a negative attitude about things.
Capricorns need to practice self-love more.
